Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 22, 2026 | For: TrySiteFax.com
1. Information We Collect
To provide and bill for the SiteFax service, we may collect:
- Account information, such as your email address and authentication provider (for example, Google sign-in).
- Billing information, managed securely by our payment processor, Stripe.
- Websites or domains you search or scan while using SiteFax.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically for security and analytics.
We do not collect passwords, credit-card numbers, or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all card processing directly.
2. How We Use AI & Public Data
SiteFax uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to analyze publicly available website data and generate trust reports. This can include:
- Domain registration and DNS records from public registry databases (RDAP/WHOIS).
- SSL/TLS certificate and security data.
- Publicly indexed website text, headings, contact pages, and storefront signals.
- Search results and publicly posted discussions that mention the exact domain being scanned.
- Blacklists and threat-intelligence feeds.
We only analyze publicly available information. We do not log into private accounts, scrape password-protected pages, or access personal data that is not already public.
3. AI Accuracy & Limitations
AI-generated summaries, scores, and risk signals are automated and may contain errors or outdated information. SiteFax reports are not legal advice, consumer-protection rulings, or guarantees of a website’s safety.
You should always verify important information independently before making a purchase or sharing personal data with any third-party website.
4. How We Share Your Data
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with trusted service providers needed to run the site:
- Stripe — for payment processing and subscription management.
- Authentication providers — for secure login.
- Hosting, analytics, and AI services — to operate, secure, and improve SiteFax.
We may also share information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to respond to a valid legal request.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser, but some features may not work correctly.
6. Data Retention & Security
We keep your account and billing data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations. We use industry-standard security measures to protect the data we hold.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. To request changes or deletion, contact us at trysitefax@trysitefax.com.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our service changes. Any material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
